Inter-country Management Support Units (ISUs) have been established in the organisational structure to provide support for Managers and staff to fully assume their responsibilities in the GSM environment and to ensure compliance with organizational policies, procedures, rules and regulations on all administrative and financial matters and transactions in the context of an enterprise resource Planning (ERP) system.

Description des fonctions
The incumbent performs the following duties:

1. Advise and support on HR Planning;
2. Provides expert advice and support to the HR community and end-users at large on HR issues offered by the global management system and GSM effective use , in order to enable client services to achieve both operational and strategic objectives;
3. Assists individual staff members to easily perform transactions according to their needs and access their personal information when required;
4. Provides Human Resources advice to management regarding staffing-related issues;
5. Interacts with managers to identify staff related-business issues and provide guidance, tools and support to address them in the most effective and efficient way;
6. Supervise HR activities conducted in the ISUs;
7. Plays an advisory role to staff and managers on Human Resources management issues, entitlements and benefits.

Achievement Activities Include: Coordinate and provide sound advice to the ISU Coordinator and staff on human resources planning.

Formation :
University Degree in human resources management, business or public administration, administrative law, social sciences or other related areas. For WHO staff only, equivalent professional training of self study/work experience.

Compétences :
 Good knowledge of human resources management theories and principles;
 Ability to interpret Staff Rules and personnel policies and determine entitlements;
 Ability to counsel and communicate effectively;
 Demonstrated supervisory skills.

Excellent knowledge of Microsoft applications (e.g. Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc) with an emphasis on Excel or a similar workbook application.

Expérience :
Essential: At least 5 years of professional experience with an emphasis on human resources management and planning.
Desirable: Good knowledge of WHO human resources management and end-to-end business processes as designed in the Global Management System; Experience in project management, ideally in the UN System and/or a public health context; Good knowledge of GSM System or similar ERP Systems.

Langues :
Excellent knowledge of English or French, with the ability to work in the other language. Knowledge of Portuguese would be an asset.

Traitment annuel (Net d'impôts)
USD 56091 fonctionnaire sans personnes à charge
USD 60091 fonctionnaire avec personnes à charge au premier degré
Ajustement de Poste: 53.9 % des montants mentionnés ci-dessus. Ce pourcentage n'a qu'une valeur indicative et peut varier, chaque mois, à la hausse ou à la baisse.

Cette vacance de poste pourra être utilisée pour pourvoir un poste similaire, au même grade.
