The Stop TB Partnership is to realize the goal of elimination of TB as a public health problem and, ultimately, to obtain a world free of TB by ensuring that every TB patient has access to effective diagnosis, treatment and cure; stopping transmission of TB; reducing the inequitable social and economic toll of TB; and developing and implementing new preventive, diagnostic and therapeutic tools and strategies to stop TB.
Description of duties:
To check all obligating documents, downloading relevant information available from the GSM, ensuring availability of funds, updating files, and transferring funds. To prepare periodic reconciliations of all awards with IAM record. Collaborate in workplan funding and budgeting, clearing obligating documents, checking them for completeness, and requesting missing information, liquidating encumbrances with respect to activities of the Stop TB Partnership Project. Undertaking reconciliations, monitoring cash flow, and preparing reports on a regular basis for reporting under the Stop TB Partnership Project. Making recommendations for appropriate action and/or drawing the attention of the supervisor and other senior staff as necessary to avoid foreseeable problems. Preparing payment requests on work related to the Stop TB Partnership Project prior to forwarding it to the Service Centre for the Stop TB Partnership Project. To record Stop TB Partnership. Collect available data on donor contributions from funding information sources and reconcile it with WHO Income and Award unit (IAM). Prepare a database of resources flow and keep it up up-to-date for developing income forecasts.
University degree in management, business administration, accounting, a related field, or equivalent.

Experience in WHO. Proficiency in the use of computer software applications.
Knowledge of WHO rules and regulations, financial systems including GSM. Knowledge of Stop TB Partnership financial management accounting practices. Ability to extract financial data from WHO system, understand and analyze it, and produce reliable financial management reports relating to the Stop TB Partnership Project to meet tight deadlines. Ability to implement financial management guidelines on financial monitoring and to establish /maintain up-to-date global database on financial resources for TB control and produce timely reports using information on these databases. Advanced skill in using Excel and application of statistical analysis tools for analyzing resource flow data. Capability in undertaking advanced network searches efficiently and effectively.

At least 2 years' experience in accounting, finance or financial administration at national or international level. Data analysis using Excel. Creation and maintenance of databases on resource flows.

Experience in WHO, knowledge of its rules and regulations, procedures and practices as related to the work.
Expert knowledge of English required and intermediate knowledge of French would be an asset.

Monthly salary: (Net of tax)
USD 3,894/month at single rate
USD 4,151/month with primary dependants
Post Adjustment: 103.3 % of the above figure(s). This percentage is to be considered as indicative since variations may occur each month either upwards or downwards due to currency exchange rate fluctuations or inflation.
