OBJECTIVES OF THE PROGRAMME :
The Stop TB Partnership was created to realize the goal of the elimination of TB as a public health problem and, ultimately, to obtain a world free of TB by ensuring that every TB patient has access to effective diagnosis, treatment and cure; stopping transmission of TB; reducing the inequitable social and economic toll of TB; and developing and implementing new prevention, diagnostic and therapeutic tools and strategies to stop TB.
Description of duties:
1. For existing Processes - Ref. "FIT IBM Audit":
Use specific web collaborative platforms to organize the update of current SOPs and other processes (TRACK, EASY COLLAB, and Calendar GANT).
Monitor new Order Management System (TOMS) development calendar updating by development team and project manager according to "SCRUM" development methodology.
Coordinate rapid update for all Global Drug Facility (GDF) controlled and not controlled SOPs according to calendar with processes' task owners.
Document alignment of "FIT" SOPs with WHO rules and ISO 9001 standards.
Propose agreed upon SOPs revisions to GDF Quality Manager. Assist for collection of formal agreement by GDF Staff.
Upon request, assist with refining business and functional analysis (and Use cases) of existing processes to be updated as answer questions from TOMS developing team.
Upon request, produce process workflow mapping of modified processes to be integrated in GDF Quality Manual and TOMS User Manual.
Document - by interacting with developers and staff - that TOMS operations (workflow) match updated processes mapping and expectations.
Assess relevance of current performance indicators and propose revisions to monitor updated processes as required. Propose revised KPIs list.
Assess availability and quality of monitoring reports and request report development to meet updated processes 'indicators, if missing.
Propose monitoring reports formatting harmonization.

2. For new processes - Ref. "GAP IBM Audit":
Similar tasks than for above for new processes to be implemented ("GAP") in TOMS, to be added to existing process list and to be documented in GDF Quality Manual (upon request).
Coordinate timely development of new SOPs with task owners using collaborative tools.
Monitor TOMS development calendar updates by development team and project manager according to "SCRUM" development methodology.
Document alignment of new SOPs with WHO rules and ISO 9001 requirements.
Propose agreed upon new SOPs to GDF Quality Manager. Assist for collection of formal agreement by GDF Staff.
Upon request, assist with refining business and functional analysis (Use cases) of new processes as to answer questions from TOMS developing team.
Upon request, produce process workflow mapping of new processes to be integrated in GDF Quality Manual and TOMS User Manual.
Document - by interacting with developers and staff - that TOMS operations (workflow) match new processes mapping and expectations.
Propose relevant performance indicators to monitor new processes as required. Update KPIs list as required.
Suggest new monitoring reports to meet new processes' indicators.

3. Other Quality Management activities:
Contribute to corrective plan for ISO and /or any other deviation.
Collect "customer feedback" as per GDF Quality Manager's directions.
Assist in preparing internal audit with relevant task owners (Team leaders, GDF Manager, GDF Quality Manager) and document Internal Audit- Dec 2012.
Assist in preparing ISO management review with relevant stakeholders and document results - Dec. 2012.
Assist in preparing external ISO audit for recertification - Jan 2013.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
Essential
Degree in Business Management or Administration.*

* (For WHO staff please see e-manual III.4.1, para 220)

Skills:
Good understanding of quality management principles and administration requirements (ISO 9001 standards preferred).
Good knowledge and experience of IT project management development techniques.
Good knowledge of business constraints specific to logistic, supply chain management and/or finance domains.
Good understanding of process-based systems design.
Demonstrable self-initiative in furthering own technical knowledge.
Good problem solving and analytical skills.
Proactive commitment to quality and user satisfaction.
Knowledge of relational databases principles a plus.
Knowledge of auditing techniques a plus.
Experience:
Essential
2 years experience in Quality Management standards (ISO 9001 a plus) and procedures management; procurement, logistics and supply chain management; Audit management.

Desirable
Experience with eWorks or Metastorm BPM designer application is highly desirable.
Languages:
Excellent knowledge of English is essential.
A working knowledge of French is desirable.

Annual salary: (Net of tax)
USD 46730 at single rate
USD 49821 with primary dependants
Post Adjustment: 103.3 % of the above figure(s). This percentage is to be considered as indicative since variations may occur each month either upwards or downwards due to currency exchange rate fluctuations or inflation.
