OBJECTIVES OF THE PROGRAMME :
The Office and Building Services provides full range of administrative services to all regional activities; enabling and support functions; administrative support services necessary for the efficient functioning of the Organization.
Description of duties:
Under the general supervision of the Administrative Officer (NPO), the incumbent will perform the following duties:

1. Record, input, update and maintain information in the GSM files in support of OBS functions;

2. In coordination with the Administrative Officer (NPO) and other OBS staff, conduct regular and annual inventory of all inventorable and attractive items in the Regional Office including consumables items in the Stores;

3. Liaise with Assistant/OBS in the compilation and/or consolidation of submitted reports of each country offices, including disposals and insurance claims;

4. Monitor and maintain records of all barcoded items;

5. Provide assistance in preparation of door signs, room assignments, office directory, map, layout of meeting rooms, as needed;

6. Conduct site visits in various Regional Office warehouses for proper reporting to Headquarters/Geneva;

7. Liaise with the WHO official insurance company on matters pertaining insurance claims;

8. Replace the Clerk (Stores) during his/her absence;

9. Performs other related duties, as required.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
Graduation from secondary school with working background in accounting and warehousing.
Skills:
Thorough knowledge of office procedures. Skills in the use of standard office software. Ability to work harmoniously as a member of a team, adapt to diverse educational and cultural backgrounds and maintain a high standard of personal conduct.
Experience:
At least two years experience in clerical positions. Experience in Oracle-based or other Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems is an asset.
Languages:
Excellent knowledge of written and spoken English.
Additional Information:

Annual salary: (Net of tax)
339 949 at single rate
